Layout Description

Theirs is an 11 cent plot with less width and length and facing east. The well was already there when the plot was purchased. The house is placed in a way to get maximum front yard.The front view is set at maximum width leaving minimum side setback. View from the outside is the porch, sit-out, master bedroom with its private court, and latticed terrace space. The pillars made of palm give the house a traditional look and add to its beauty. Long seating/storage is provided in the sit out. On entering, one enters a long corridor.

The master bed, living room, staircase, dining room and second bedroom all connect on one side of the corridor. On the other side is a beautiful indoor courtyard. The courtyard has been beautifully landscaped with a fish pond and plants. Artificial mist system is provided to water the plants. The courtyard can be seen from the sit out through a circular wooden opening. This courtyard is visible from all but the downstairs master bedroom. The master bedroom also has a private courtyard. 

On the other side, the set back is completely designed as a garden and is ready to step out from the dining room. The wash basin is set within this garden spac An open kitchen concept has been designed. A breakfast counter separates the kitchen and dining. 

All parts of the house are designed in a way that allows light and air to flow well. 

There is one bedroom on the first floor and two covered terraces at the front and back. The front terrace acts as a balcony. A view of the beautiful paddocks can also be enjoyed from the rear terrace. The oat above gives a traditional look to the house and helps to reduce the heat in the lower part.
